What can it mean

by Keith D Allison

Today as I walked along the mountain trail
basking in the breasts of February Sun
caught in that reality somewhere before fantasy stance
seeing that breath of late-summer in cowboy boots and jeans
sitting on top of a high mountain in Machu Picchu playing a flute.....
the melody was delightful whispering upon the ear
telling the story that, Love is an art
wrapping the bean of chocolate in the warmth of a dream
with a wink and a smile, she faded away
I raise my cane, to bid her goodby
so as the wind rushed off the mountain peaks covered in snow
I shook my head wondering what can it mean
but if I was a poet I would tell you to paint your canvas well, for, love is an art

"Love is an art" indeed. Nice.

Unusal metaphor "basking in the breasts of February Sun". Long walks in the mountains in February certainly create fantasy!
