Yesterday's Reverie by Alisa Jscan I climb once more your mountains of indecision
linger in valleys of the turning winds,
float among those clouds of faltering promise
as I listen for maybe the last time,
of how we could be, one day
when the moon turns dark red
and you finally get off your ass
and do something
productive,
creative
courageous.
in this land of enchanting scenes
where the brave choose to reside
and the weak fall flat under squeals of change
tracks on the landscape
of wilted charms
languishing,
filled with excuses
of yesterdays dreams
