Craving Your Sweet Gentility

by Marjorie Anne Reagan

The way you touched me
heart and soul
made me whole
still heals me
completely
giving all I needed
making me give all I had
putting me to good use
the way only you could do
appreciation
sweetness
every word sound and hum from you
etched in memory
how you healed me
I need you now
and your sweet gentility
hold me in your arms
stare at me with warmth
let me rest in the softness
only you posses
not even having to apologize
for that statement
you are so self assured
I miss our world
and your sweet gentility
