love circus

by Mary Frances Spencer

under
the big top
hope gracefully crosses the tightrope
faith swings trapeze
while clowns and lions
jump through flaming hoops
into funhouse mirrors

the magical beyond paint
above the velvet tent
outside cages
tonight

sun and moon
will
spin together
and sprinkle
star sequins
that never fall
but sparkle
shimmering skies

the celestial
love circus
shines
forever

It is one big circus, isn't it? This started my V-Day of perfectly!

The circus brings back so many memories to me. It was one of the places my father took me and I loved it. Nice write.
