Looking Glass Man

by D. James McKee

I'm falling into my computer again.
I've tripped on the L and landed flat.
Inches from my nose, the monitor expands.
Infinity in a glass.
Inside now, my hair flies in static discharge.
Insanity in each strand.
Instant knowledge is mine.
It's a shame there's still no time, to know it all.
Is wisdom to be found in a box of cable.
In the screen that preens and shines....where is she?

Very engaging for those of us stuck to these boxes. I've decided she doesn't live there -- only lots of information, some good, mostly bad, all chaotic. Gradually going back to books. Good stuff - thx!

A bit of humor, a lot of wisdom!
