i wish i could remember

what i want to remember,
i do not know.
i just wish i could remember.


the days that seemed to be filled with nothing.
the hours wasted away in-between making an impact on something or another.

i wish i could remember

what i want to remember

a feeling hovers above my consciousness
like a familiar picture trapped
behind a foggy sheet of glass
and i think it's something worth the thought
but i just can't seem to strengthen the reception.
