This is a brilliant little poem I think. The form is wonderful because it is as if it is all trickling through the hole. Another inner wonder--is that "a gaping" suggests the word agape. Quite amazing... as agape as a noun means love-- and agage as adj. or adv. means open! Intricately woven in so few words!
