Memory

by Jim Moore

It isn't the driver in front of me--—
The man in the hummer
That tells me who he is.
Today I'm chasing time like a drifter
Wearing down the edges
Of this weary commute--—
A crafty old sea captain
Wandering through the tale of an earlier voyage.

Short and sweet. I love this and I hope you get some time to sail off the coast. Been there done that. Very Nice memory.
