There is no answer because there is no question by Olivia Weinkeinshe tells you i'm lonely because i can't stand
the sun and expects you to remember
everything
but i was never one for missing out or doing
without so when she pushed me that last time
i fell.
it isn't so bad living through shadows with lack
of an imagination i never wanted to keep and
you will surely forget
everything
by this time tomorrow but by this time
tomorrow nothing will matter and the
next time she yells
steal her voice.

Posted by Gabriel Ricard on 01/31/08 at 03:35 AM Man, I like that last line. It comes off as the kind of thing you'd say before speeding off down the road and leaving someone in the dust. Wonderful work. |
Posted by Aaron Michael on 01/31/08 at 05:16 PM yeah. the last line most def. packs a punch. wonderful writing, as per usual. |
Posted by Meghan Helmich on 09/03/08 at 02:10 PM i would definitely say that the ending is the strongest. best line break and that last line is a kicker. for some reason, the other stanzas seem a bit vague. i like where this goes, though. |
