Patricia, Patricia

by Carl Walker

Patricia, Patricia,
she's my queen
she expects me to know
her thoughts unseen
sometimes she's sweet
sometimes she's tart
Patricia, Patricia
queen of my heart

Author's Note: Patricia is my wife, my life. Marriage is a mixture of bonding and frustration. Marrige tastes better with a big serving of service and compassionate patience. ..a lot better. Here is a neat thought. The best thing we can do for our spouse is most often the best thing we can do for our own joy --the best thing we can do for ourselves. we were created to serve and in serving we find our meaning. Show me a person devoid of service to others and I will show you a lonely person who wishes life could be different.
