Coney Island Jewel {Haiku} by D. James McKeeolive skin windswept,
raven locks whipping ink bands
'cross dark pirate eyes
she smiles a warm breeze,
popcorn and paper dance low
concrete carnival
robin's egg and pink,
honey spun words drift sweetly
from her poet soul 01/25/2008 Author's Note: Inspired by a true poetic soul. Thank-you jewels...
