I love the iconic character of this piece and its "embedded" headers and homophonic wonder. The altenating yes and no of the stanzas opens up possibilities in terms of intense fluctuating dedication for any of many reasons... the details incised seem a mix of personal reactions, some to personal experience, some to art, sculpture, a song, and perhaps a play. The "hymn" of it suggests implied religious overtones, though not necessarily so. Hope your play got five stars and you not four stiches... Love the originality, of this!
