Frame by Frame

by David Garner

when I think of you

I just see part of you

to see all of you

I must go

frame by frame

moving pictures

still by still

close-ups

fade-ins

the longest movie ever made

I could always view

to see all of you

I

must

go

frame

Ah the formal brilliance of this... that gives no choice but to read "frame by frame" in the time frame you desire. Also "I could always view" has a light and deep significance... as it could be offhandedly available must more it would take "always" to view.... all ways. Interesting that it is not in person that you might see "all of you", but in film... in the framing, distanced artfully, rather than immediate.
