Go Fish by James ZealyOnce years ago, you asked me to go fishing
So lines thrown could connect two disparate souls
I saw only that I did not like to fish
I asked you once to read what I wrote
You did
And We found each other
Like fish out of water
Struggling to breathe
We found sustinance
Today, we swim in each others universe
Chasing a common lure

Posted by Julie Adams on 01/14/08 at 03:51 PM I think this is a spectacular piece, reaching humanity with it's line...a really well developed piece, substantial in every way...loved most the first and last stanas, both nothing short of amazing...a pleasure, truly, peace n happy writings, jewels |
