Go Fish

by James Zealy

Once years ago, you asked me to go fishing
So lines thrown could connect two disparate souls
I saw only that I did not like to fish

I asked you once to read what I wrote
You did
And We found each other

Like fish out of water
Struggling to breathe
We found sustinance

Today, we swim in each others universe
Chasing a common lure
Of word tapestries

Really nice analogy, man. I know as well as anyone it's tough to pull one of these off really well.

I think this is a spectacular piece, reaching humanity with it's line...a really well developed piece, substantial in every way...loved most the first and last stanas, both nothing short of amazing...a pleasure, truly, peace n happy writings, jewels
