I wasn't feeling rather Christmasy

Except for that "jingle-jangle" in my head.

In fact, I was not at all very merry

Instead, filled with a foreboding, dread.

So I decided to have a cup of cheer

A little touch of rum in my egg nog for the day.

Chased down with a fine lager of a beer!

Now I feel quite Christmasy, so what the hey!
