Love's Call

by Joe Cramer

Sweetly I hear the softest call of love

Caressing my heart, the depth of my soul.

I long to learn more that it is made of

To share, to care, if I may be so bold.

The love that I have, the love that I know

Shines, in the most unexpected of ways.

So much love, I long to forever show

Unrequited love, to the end of days.

This love that I have, the way that I care

Leaves me fraught again, once more all alone.

Love will call again, though I know not where,

Bringing my heart to that wonderful home.

As love's call reaches out and touches me

My weariest heart will soon be set free.
