unshy me

by Maria Massarella

my bed is
never empty
she says

its spaces
are uni
versal

words
dive from
my lips

glissade
perennial
awakenings

riding
the ethereal
in a breath

your
inhale tours
my ecstasy

blisses
sweet exhale
when

barefooted i
gypsy
your soul

spirit revels
in the folds
unfolded

mystic
the beauty
of surrender

tongued
to joy
in a kiss

ditto "wow" and "whew". words that glissade, and "gypsy" as a verb. i love it!

Yes, consummate and mouth-watering poetic massage - what especially intrigues me here is the title in relation to the first stanza's "...she says", a delicate manipulation intimating demeanour (perhaps :)

I would love to hear of the inspiration for this.....

I’ll bet it’s really, really warm in there. How nice of you to let some out.

WOW! I'm glad I turned off the heater. This is sizzling. You use such strong and descriptive words. As ever, beautiful.
