redefine: blood. by Aaron Michaelmemory has a habit of scattering
in the slight turbulence that ripples my mind
when i think too hard.
the residual effect of rememberance
is something like bleeding
perfect in closed spaces
and something that you only show
for those closer than skin.
and i would wrap you in my own to keep you warm,
letting memory spill and slide away
to cling to someone else's shoes and leave
the outline of unfamiliar
somewhere i shouldn't be.
i would if i could remember your face. 12/07/2007 Posted on 12/08/2007 Copyright © 2024 Aaron Michael
