an unusual winter haiku, glorious. could even fit into the "science fiction" category--with that evocative last line. it's as if that leaf is a meteor of part of a satellite!

I like how this is spoken without any sort of emotional leading, and yet the shock of the shattering is there anyway. The more I read it, the more of an impact it has on me, all of the words left unsaid in this are just amazing!
