mud bath

by Matthew Sharp

intending towards the perpendicular horizon
evolution nurtured into mutation
a chase let go to disappear
irrelevant abyss of bliss
spurts of despair at war with self-contradiction
a paradox to plant a seed in
bifurcating aimless
no time for space
no space for time
dilate expand implode

Wow, such contrasts of experience. Implied is the supposed divinity that is supposed to accompany this experience, but instead an irreverance seems to be discovered...and a danger that, instead of a release outward, the experience holds the potential of backfiring into one's self.
