The Patchwork by Harold Millican
Remember the patchwork
The breadth of human life
That sailed the ships of chemikalia
Barren wasteland
Of human commotion
Pandemonium
Running scared running wild
Chemical jail
Capsulated corpuscles
Cells face their plight
Copying and duplicating
Radiation nights
Sew and weave the patchwork
See the human void
If you think twice about it
Be much destroyed
Take a size huge, and boot to the concrete
The retro familiar infection that makes your body scream
No cure
No discrimination
Unsure about the fall
Concoction, insemination
No logic is soothing at all
20 years in the making
Lives still taken
We havent felt the fear
We need to know the cell thief
That exists under cheap thrill
This is an acquired independent disease of self
One we are never above
Know the green eyed monster
The sex fiend in the shadows
The devil in the details
The crapshoot in the breeze
Remember the patchwork
That will never subside the pain
The missing imagery, that is uncontained in a single frame
Its my party
And the only weapon
Ive got is my lack
Of frivolity when
I consummate my desires
My funny valentines
The sur-facial submersion
Remember the patchwork
Dont every forget
Choose knowledge over stupidity
Before your epithet
It exists
It is real
Be afraid
Remember the patchwork
Remember
