The Dawning of Tomorrow

by Harold Millican

The Dawning of Tomorrow

Though trials and tribulations have been in my way
People say.
I will survive.
Sometimes, life is but a mystery
Sometimes, my youth I cannot revive.
The Down syndrome, the lonely daysÂ…
The sunny days
The Dawning of Tomorrow
When I feel bad
When I feel sad
When I come across days, I wish I never had
I just place my eyes on that rainbow up above
The Dawning of Tomorrow
A day when the sun will always be shining and timing
Will have no end
I question you, Oh Reader!
Do you know of this dawning?
Or did you read this poem in vain.
This poem should bring a special giftÂ…
The power to smile again
