Does 50 Loom Large?

On the landscape of your life?
What will the days now bring,
Now that you are nearing the time
When you will be on this planet
For half a century?
So what will the next 50 bring
As you contemplate your life?
Do you anticipate your death,
Or perhaps even the chance
That you will live longer?
Does 50 loom large in your life?
