bubbly inside
fragrant crust over
the sweet

taste of
friendship
rich love cherries
tart appreciation for
simple survival

i’ve got home food stuff
nicely boxed
family frosting
spices falling over
cinnamon boy
saffron girl
yin and yang dogs
spinning tins

mixing it up
work
play
all the pieces
slicing these words
together
a la mode
