Basketball Season

everyone's shopping, but us
we are excited, a day in the gym!
from 10 AM till 6 PM
Time flies by...
the sound of sneakers pounding the wood,
life is good, again.
Anticipation is in the air...
so far we are undefeated! ha ha!
my "other" family is great
we spend way too much time together...
rarely an arguement..
we have a common thread running through us..
an orange ball, and hardwood heads
I take a moment an thank God Above...
for His love, and for blessing me
with another reason

Author's Note: over 40 years now, high school hoops has been a great passion to me...I thank GOD, my dad LOUIE, and Tony Comeleo for showing me the ropes of hoops, thanks coach, turkey is good, but get me on that hardwood!!
