Leeword weighs

by A. Paige White

Leeward weighs
for sideways drift
careless steering, taught the wind
morn or even evening shift

leeword weighs
the metal of anchor, say
how blows should go
astray

four leeward ways
would seek the shore
of the more before
leeword weighs
the anchor a shift
away

alee ahoy!
Anchors a weigh!

Author's Note: lol
I dunno, just had to write out playing leeword against leeward.

Up to your usual unusual play with words! Makes a neat read aloud!
