So Unhappy

So unhappy was she, in her life.

She tried very hard to be a good wife.

All she ever got was his strife

Thusly, she ended her life.

I knew this was the case,

Her poems, penned would not erase

From my mind, leaving such a trace

Of a life lived, without embrace.
