in many flavors

weekends are made
for lovers
with all the time
in the world
exploring every
orifice and instrument
at leisure

overnights are
for the times
that an hour or
two simply won't suffice
when the yearning
is too big or
the desire to sleep
entwined wins out

Friday nights
we all know
are the best
the end of a long week
drinks after work
happy fuzzy fumbling

But Mondays?

Mondays have only
one valid use
the fierce quick
tense driven
exhaustive staccato
noontime or after work
or before work
fuck, when there
just isn't time
for "making love",
the one day of the
week that always
leaves you grasping
gasping for more
unfulfilled and unsatiated
no matter how hard
it comes

Fuck.
