First Kiss

by Don Matley

Cool, like Winter sighs
Safe, wearing snowsuits
Tingly, like frozen toes thawing
Dry, too young to know better
Naughty, PG-13, parents gone shopping
Uplifting, egos above the clouds
Special, intimately so
Secret, garage door closed
Frequent, never enough
Irresistible, like magnets
Last, caught, shopping over
Next, Spring.

Ooooh love the list-like quality of this kiss. Waiting for the "Next"...
