Million Stars, Repost (With an alternate ending). by Rhonda Maneki
I fell like million stars from the
sky to be caught within
your hands.
My essence, shimmers of
moonlight silver, dripping in mirrored
pools at your feet, your
eyes reflected in me.
You say, I'm beautiful for I'm a million stars,
and yet you really see me.
10/24/2007 Author's Note: I wish to extend a million stars of thanks to Kathleen Wilson for her suggestion of an alternate ending " yet, you really see me".
I reread this several times with and without it the alternate ending. I like this ending much better, thank you again Kathleen.
