I'm all grown up now,

And how

I've managed to survive this long

Is beyond me. Nothing went wrong

After being

And seeing

The planet for some 50 odd years

Despite my fears

And misgiving

My living

Is pretty much

What I thought it would be. I'm still out of touch

With reality

Is this how it is really supposed to be?
