balancing ideas

teetering between mmmm and mmmm.
do you suppose when i run out of ideas
i can lie down in a summer field inside myself,
a bit of straw between my teeth, and get some rest?
slash, cut, think, move each word
until i have it to where a single space
is mine and i hide myself in it; snug.
