we, living mustard seeds by Julie Adams
linked in life
the to be's and we's
persons, rivers, and trees
moments of transition,
the constant now
caught between cycles,
stages of human objectification
time, being, self
to transcend
human concepts and connections
at their nethermost,
prove impermanent
but for the manifestation of mindfulness,
a persistant practice of peace
balanced in meditation
deep breathing
deeper
feel the water flow
into waves
the maternal rocking of living
of love
in all things

Posted by Kathleen Wilson on 11/05/07 at 04:28 PM The poem takes a deep breath and stands (sits) in meditation evn beyond the note... a seed scattered in the poem...perhaps to find...I would love but in itself it opens out of the seed of love rocked in the arms of timelessness... |
