Tragedy is the love
that never comes and
leaves you alone.

The joy of bitterness
that you once found melts,
as the love becomes a question
of why.

When you realize that
you are alone and the walls
that made you cry at your
own grief of all of her
ways leaves you.

The joy and sudden
acceptance of going on
leaves you desperate.

Her smile as she
looks at you from
only past memories
like a greek statue.

All you can do is
see the past memory,
and grin as you walk away.

She isn't the one
you want now.
How sad you think
when love fades,
and your all alone.

The blood and tears
wasted in vanity.
Time moves on,
and you swear to
the empty gods that
love is gone.

Sadly we march forth
like blind soldiers.
Following orders to
our doom.
