I have never had someone as heartbreaking as you were,
but I have never had someone I wanted more,
loved more, felt as much for
as you,
and so I would never take you back,
even if you were to kiss me like you did,
and you never would,
so maybe I would.

I wish it weren't that way.
This isn't poetry,
It's before-never-again-play.

Fuck you for thinking I was so much farther away
than right where we stayed and could have grown.
