Sometimes I look into the mirror
and wonder who I was supposed to be
Loving mother
Cherished wife
Respected coworker
Trusted friend
Faithful servant
are they the cliches
or am I?
Frightened inside my shell
I long to fly free
but instead
I fortify my cocoon.
