She had a laugh

That I just did not

Enjoy, regardless

Of my gaff.

I did try to employ

My feelings of devotion

(Devoid of any emotion.)

Oh how I detested her laughter

As it grated to the bone.

It saddened me and

Drove me somewhat insane

(Could I be held to blame?)

I loathed her laugh.
