She Was the Snow by Tony WhitakerI see her there
but she's not here
She's just a memory
lingering
in
the midnight air
I miss her so
she was the snow
so soft and slow
that made this
man
I miss the walks
the way she talks
But she's the mist
that lies so deep
beneath
these eyes that dared
I miss her so
she was the snow
so soft and slow
that made this
man
Now she's gone
I was the one
who would not care
<And Lord, I miss her so
she was the snow
so soft and slow
that made this
man

| Posted by Gabriel Ricard on 09/05/07 at 02:28 AM See, it's stuff like this that makes me want to get an acoustic guitar and try to learn a little something, because i feel like that's where my own work should head. anyway, great writing, man. |
