by candlelight by Kenneth LauPlay with fire little one, not the shadows on the walls. Find what is real, the pain, the burn of getting too close to that which actually changes. The illusions dance around the room, some praising the light with majestic curves and arms widespread. Others move frantically, twisting to escape the hold of the flame, but they cannot. You, little one, are real. But extinguish the flame and the illusions die. Then there will be only darkness. 08/28/2007 Posted on 08/29/2007 Copyright © 2024 Kenneth Lau
