and let me move on 08/25/2007 Author's Note: Father, You command us to love and bear each others burdens....what if those same burdens bring me down, what if I can't bear them??? He won't let me go, he says he needs me. And what happens if he truly does need me and I walk away and let You down. I feel like I am running with scissors. And my heart is the one that will end up getting cut.

| Posted by Genevieve Sturrock on 08/25/07 at 06:22 PM baby, baby, baby...He gives us no burden too heavy for us to bear. but we often take on more than our share of burdens. as for the one who says he needs you...if he is unwilling or unable to commit to you in the way you need him to, then he doesn't need you, he needs a crutch. you are not a crutch. you are a special, wonderful, lovely person who deserves to be loved and treasured and supported in kind. step out from under his shadow and embrace the sun (and the Son). it isn't love if it makes you feel worthless. |
