Fragrance Fills the Air

by Genevieve Sturrock

eyes closed
lips swollen
from arduous kisses
waiting in
sensual anticipation
she hears
the strike of
a match and
the unmistakable
scent of
sandalwood
drifts
towards her
and she knows
her lover
means to
take his time
when that
fragrance fills the air

Oooh La La! Sensuously understated... Sandalwood is such a heady aroma... as are passion swollen kisses... darn shame my pms has to interfere with it, lol...

I like this image very much, and the moment captured. I would like to see you distill this insense-- and make a haiku out of the sense this too!
