Tonight I just wanted to lay with you
and feel the warmth of your being
by my side for it has been far too long
and I know it only a couple days
but my soul craves the affection
that I know you can give, instead
I seemed weird or acted that part,
and it errupted in my face when
all I wanted to do is hold your hand,
tell you how much I love you,
and sleep by your side.
