Goin' Fishin' by Tony WhitakerPainting pictures with words is what I do
inspiration supplies the scene from a vision of you
Writing words, wheres the melody, so easy to find
when my mind slips to times just the touching of you
Passion from words for others to adore
when those words reflect a memory of the wanting of you
Adoration as bait through words set the hook
and the reader, like I, feel the pull of you
Reeled in on the lines of this poets gear
I will dine tonight on these words that spell Y-O-U

Posted by Kathleen Wilson on 08/23/07 at 01:27 PM ah! "you" is the perfect repetition word in the ghazal for a lover to choose. I love that. And especially I love "the pull of you". |
