Today we release you into the ocean, into the salt and into the waves,

May it release you from all of the frustration that your illness brought,

And give you peace in the journey.

Let the wave’s crash over you like our love, surrounding you and encapsulating you.

Let our tears fall and become part of the ocean,

Let the salt cleanse the sadness we feel without you

And may the sunshine warm our shoulders like you were wrapped around us.

Peace and freedom dad is all I can dream for you and

May the circle of your journey continue as we say good-bye

To your death and we embrace all that we shared in your life.
