on behalf of america
i would shed skin
and trade blood for blood
allowing that smile for
free thought and speech
hold for as long as it had
te strength.
there is no limit to
action and reaction when
a mind is ever evolving
and coming up with better ways
to kill each other
and violence has been begetting violence
since harsh words were created
and we realized how to shut someone up
permanently.

water can be the beating heart of existence,
but you throw enough of it fast enough
and it becomes a hurricaine,
and the world is spinning just right
to see us break like waves
on each other, and that is nothing
if not permanent.
