rain.

by Aaron Michael

the skin of the situation
stretches and swells
with each turbulent
tumbledown
until impact dampens the
earth, and the soil
soaks all the ideas
for future generations
to till, and plant
and reap, and build
and build and build

until the rain washes us away.

Sure do like this Aaron. You're one heck of a good poet.
