haiku (seashells)

by Pall Kvaran

seashells in sand
flipped by the summertide
her ocean necklace

Author's Note: Written by me and Frišrik Į. Frišriksson after a conversation about what the summer had changed.

This is quite wonderful. The "summertide" as kigo--I have never seen that and it is beautiful. The "flipped" gives an unusual and sensual motion to the haiku and "her ocean necklace" is delightfully suggestive.

I am shocked to find I marked this as a favourite poem but failed to leave any comment. This is a lovely haiku though I have nothing uniquqe to add to the comments above.
