Kickin' Up Dust

by Paul Marino

Pod tells everyone at the family reunion that I'm born & raised in Philly, wanna see the back roads he used to roam He's just kickin' up dust. He's just kickin' up dust. In the Astrovan Keri rolls the bone. I can't get my hands to close the door. But once the tires hit dirt road Pod starts kickin' up dust. Pod starts kickin' up dust. He's the family's black sheep left behind the great green of New York's earth and now he smiles in his rear view even if it hurts kickin' up dust, kickin' up dust, kickin' up dust, Pod's just kickin' up dust.
