Eternal Empty Sleep

The difference,
Seems clear.
Solitudes arm,
And emptiness hold.
Her breathe,
On my skin,
Lost for evermore.
To sleep,
In lonely dreams.
Eternal rest,
Her heart,
Awake in,

| Posted by Kathleen Wilson on 08/15/07 at 01:47 AM Deep, enigmatic, powerful. The three stanzas seem perfect as if a bridge from nowherte to nowhere, and in the center the lost breath. Through it all the "distant beat" tabla like. The three word title matches the stanzas. Unforgetable poem at the edge of (precious) being. |
