Caress of Death

by Razel Davies

Angelic winds surround me,
Warm and fast.
A light of calm,
A touch of power.
A demon rain soaked me,
Damp and cold.
A black of fear,
Caress of death.

Held by beauty’s grace,
And hands so sweet.
Such love,
Such warmth,
Yet Hell’s wrath waiting.

In my eyes foul mist,
Acid becomes my tears.
Scarring beauty,
Pretty pain,
A flower of death,
Hold on me.

Angelic winds left me,
Cold and fast.
A dark of fear,
A loss of me.
A demon rain drowned me,
Wet and icy.
A black of fear,
Caress of death.
